  • Two free throws from senior Timmy Edwards and Barnes pushed DSU's advantage up to six points at the 2:45 mark but the Knights responded with four straight to make it 71-69 with 1:51 to go.
  • After a Bulldog turnover, Arcadia four looks from outside the arc on the ensuing possession but none of them would go and DSU regained possession with 31 seconds left.
  • Out of a timeout, DSU was near the end of the shot clock when Barnes hoisted up a 3 just before the shot clock buzzer from five feet outside the three-point line that connected giving DSU a 74-69 lead with 18 seconds left.
  • Arcadia called timeout and out of the timeout, Da'Kquan Davis converted a three-point play to make it 74-72.
