Williamsport, PA (Mach 13, 2021) - The DeSales University women's basketball team completed its undefeated regular season with its eighth straight win, 90-46, over Lycoming College in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

- The Bulldogs complete the regular season with eight straight wins and did so in dominating fashion winning by an average of 39.6 points per game.
- DSU will now face Delaware Valley University in the MAC Freedom Championship game next week on Thursday evening in Billera Hall with tip set for 7:00 pm.
How it Happened
- The Bulldogs did trail in this one as Lycoming took a 5-2 lead early before an 18-3 run pushed DeSales in control, taking a 20-8 lead at the three minute mark of the first quarter.
- Leading by 11 after one quarter, DSU out-scored LC, by 10 (18-8) in the second quarter to enjoy a 41-19 lead at the half.
- DeSales had a terrific shooting second-half hitting 5-for-7 from deep to score 49 points over the final two minutes as the Bulldogs cruised the rest of the way.
Top Bulldog Performers
- All five starters were in double digits led by junior Rylie Rittenhouse with a game-high 17 points and eight rebounds.
- Freshman Mikaela Reese added 16 points, pulled down seven boards, handed out five assists, and made four steals.
- Junior Averi Jordan finished with 14 points and eight rebounds and freshman Lindsey Welsh had 13 points.
- Senior Isabel Caruso added 10 tallies.
For the Foes
- Erica Lutz led the Warriors with 16 points and nine boards as the lone player in double digits for Lycoming.
Inside the Box Score
- The Bulldogs had a terrific shooting afternoon hitting 51.5 percent from the field and 53.3 percent from outside the arc.
- DeSales dominated the paint out-scoring Lycoming, 50-18, and forced 30 turnovers leading to 35 points.
