Wilkes-Barre, PA (April 17, 2021) - The DeSales University women's tennis team lost just 16 games across eight matches earning an 8-0 win over King's College in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs improved to 6-0 overall on the season.
Doubles
Junior
 Annie Rakos and seniorÂ
Alex Rodier got things started with an 8-2 win at the No. 1 doubles spot, juniorsÂ
Bailey Greco andÂ
Kirsten Kosa won 8-3 in the No. 2 flight, and freshmanÂ
Morgan Landau teamed with seniorÂ
Sabrini Ricciardi to win 8-0 in the third spot.
Singles
Rakos was a double winner in the No. 1 flight earning a 6-0, 6-0 win. Kosa won 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot and Greco was a 6-1, 6-3 winner in the No. 3 position. Landau won by retirement in the fourth flight and Ricciardi won 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 5 spot. FreshmanÂ
Hope Hoppe had a 6-2, 2-1 lead in the No. 6 spot before rain cancelled the rest of the match with the outcome already decided.

The Bulldogs are back to action on Tuesday when they travel to Wilkes University for another MAC Freedom match set to begin at 3:30 pm.
