Big Second-Half Carries King's Past DeSales in Women's Lacrosse Quarterfinals

Wilkes-Barre, PA (April 27, 2021) - King's College scored four straight goals at the start of the second-half turning a one-goal lead into a five-goal lead and the DeSales University women's lacrosse team couldn't recover falling 10-4 in the MAC Freedom Quarterfinals on Tuesday evening.

How it Happened
  • King's took a 3-0 lead early but DSU pulled to within one late in the first-half and trailed by two goals (4-2) at the half.
  • Sophomore Tori Brennan scored the first goal of the second-half just 49 seconds into the half to get the Bulldogs within one (4-3), but the Monarchs had the answer scoring four straight goals over the next 23 minutes holding DSU scoreless till the 2:24 mark to move into the semifinals.

  • Brennan and junior Marina Bradley each had two goals in the loss.
  • Brennan added five draw controls and two caused turnovers.
