Center Valley, PA (April 28, 2021) - The DeSales University men's tennis team cruised to its second straight win in as many days, 9-0, over Lycoming College in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday afternoon.
Doubles
Lycoming was forced to drop the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles points having just five eligible players for the match. In the No. 1 and 2 doubles spots senior
Danny Lynn teamed with freshmanÂ
Augie Citrone to win 8-2 and sophomoreÂ
Will Pollick paired with juniorÂ
Brahm Buoy to win 8-1.
Singles
Lynn was a double winner in the No. 1 position earning a 6-2, 6-0 singles victory and Citrone earned a 6-4, 6-0 win in the No. 2 hole. SophomoreÂ
Mark Sherrill didn't drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 3 spot, juniorÂ
Nolan Beck won 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 4 flight, and seniorÂ
Juan Troncoso earned his first win of the year, 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 5 spot on senior day.
