Center Valley, PA (April 3, 2021) - The DeSales University men's tennis team handed Stevenson University its first loss of the season, 5-4, in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
The Bulldogs held a 2-1 lead after the doubles matches were complete as seniorÂ
Danny Lynn and sophomoreÂ
Thomas Blomquist had a hard fought 8-7 (7-4) win in the No. 1 position and the freshman tandem ofÂ
Phillip Ritchie andÂ
Augie Citrone won 8-3 in the No. 2 flight.
Singles
DSU moved to singles needing just three wins to clinch the match. Lynn earned one of those points with another hard fought win in the No. 1 spot, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2, Citrone was a double winner with a come-from-behind 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4) win at the No. 3 flight, and juniorÂ
Brahm Buoy was a 6-2, 6-1 winner in the No. 5 slot.
