Center Valley, PA (May 3, 2021) - The DeSales University men's tennis team open the MAC Freedom postseason with a 5-0 win over Lycoming College in the quarterfinals on Monday afternoon.

DSU advances into the MAC Freedom semifinals and will take on the winner of the Wilkes/Arcadia match-up on Wednesday afternoon.  DeSales will host that match as they will be the higher seed (#2) regardless of opponent.

The two teams played singles first on Monday and the Bulldogs took all five completed singles matches to clinch the win.

Among the winners for the Bulldogs were freshman Augie Citrone, 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot, sophomore Mark Sherrill, 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 3 position, junior Brahm Buoy 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 4 position, junior Nolan Beck 6-0, 6-0 in the #5 flight, and sophomore Will Pollick, 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 6 hole.
