Reading, PA (September 25, 2021) - The DeSales University women's tennis team stayed unbeaten this Fall with a 6-3 win over Alvernia University on Saturday morning.
Doubles
DSU took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as sophomoreÂ
Morgan Landau and first-yearÂ
Nyah Tomlinson earned an 8-5 win in the No. 2 spot and sophomoreÂ
Hope Hoppe and first-yearÂ
Alyssa Vandenberge won 8-3 in the No. 3 spot.
Singles
SeniorÂ
Kirsten Kosa got things started in singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win in the No. flight, while Landau, Hoppe, and Vandenberge were all double winners to close out the match. Landau won 6-4, 6-1 in the No. 3 spot, Hoppe was a 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) winner in the No. 5 flight, and Vandenberge won 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 6 flight.
The Bulldogs wrap-up its Fall schedule hosting Moravian University on October 9th.
