Center Valley, PA (September 7, 2021) - The DeSales University men's soccer team dropped its third straight game to start the 2021 season falling to Cabrini University, 3-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

The Basics

How it Happened

• A scoreless game into the half saw Cabrini strike first in the 67th minute when Dakota Bauer scored on a centering pass in the box.
• DeSales needed just 1:50 to re-tie the game at one when Tristen Castellani scored on a loose ball just outside the box in the lower right corner.
• The game remained tied into the 77th minute when the Cavaliers scored on a header off a throw-in and added the exclamation point in the 85th minute on another throw-in off a header.

• Castellani's goal was the first of his career.
• Senior Nathan Hatzfeld made five saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Christian Rafter, Bauer, and Nick Booth scored Cabrini's goals.
• Jake Scully had two assists and Josh Cunningham and Nick LoBiondo also had assists.
