Center Valley, PA (October 8, 2022) - The DeSales University women's soccer team dropped its first MAC Freedoom game of the season falling to #3 Misericordia University, 5-0, in conference action on Saturday afternoon.

• Records: DeSales (7-3-2, 2-1 MAC Freedom); Misericordia (10-0-1, 2-0 MAC Freedom)
• The Cougars have now won 11 straight in the series and DSU falls to 1-20-1 all-time vs. Misericordia.

How it Happened

• Misericordia broke open a scoreless game in the 35th minute on a goal from Ally Waite and made it 2-0 at the half just 3:25 later on a blast from about 40 yards from Zoee Farr.
• The Cougars tacked on three more goals in the second-half to provide the final margin.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Junior Hannah Pacheco made 10 saves for the Bulldogs in between the pipes.
• Seniors Allie Trick and Sam Monteforte each had shots on goal.

For the Foes

• In addition to Farr and Waite, Colleen Kinsella and Michaela Fasolino also scored.
• Julia Beck had two assists and Emma Sweitzer added an assist.
• Three different goalkeepers saw action recording the shutout.

Inside the Box Score

• The Cougars had a 25-11 advantage in shots and a 15-3 edge in shots on goal.
• Misericordia took six of the seven corner kicks in the game.
