Women's Basketball Breaks Single-Game Scoring Record in 113-32 Win at FDU-Florham

Madison, NJ (December 3, 2022) - The DeSales University women's basketball team broke the single-game scoring record scoring 113 points in a 113-32 win over FDU-Florham in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

  • DeSales wins its eighth straight game over FDU-Florham and improves to 42-16 all-time vs. the Devils.
  • The 113 points are the most in a single-game in team history surpassing the previous mark of 111 points achieved three times including the last time in 2018 vs. Cedar Crest College.
  • The 81-point margin of victory was just seven points shy of tying the school-record of 88 set in 2018 vs. Cedar Crest College.
How it Happened
  • A win was never in doubt in this one as the Bulldogs scored the first six points of the game and raced out to a 27-8 lead after one quarter of play.
  • DSU forced 30 first-half turnovers to lead 53-12 at the half and cruised home in the second-half.

  • Only one player reached 20 minutes of playing time as all 14 players in uniform saw at least nine minutes of action and 13-of-14 scored in the game.
