Madison, NJ (March 2, 2022) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest at Drew University, 21-6, on Wednesday evening.

• This was the fifth career meeting between the two teams with the Rangers winning all five.

How it Happened

• After Drew scored the first three goals of the game, the Bulldogs scored two of the next three to get within two goals (4-2) at the 6:25 mark of the first quarter.
• The Rangers rattled off six straight goals to take a 10-2 lead just before the half.
• The Bulldogs showed some fight finishing the half with a goal and then scoring two of the first three goals in the third quarter to pull within 11-5, but Drew scored nine straight to put the game away.

• Sophomore Hayley Petrosini led DSU with three goals.
• First-year Meagan Landers had two goals and fellow first-year Jess Brey added one goal.
• First-year Kyleigh Price had four assists.
• First-year Michaela Regan totaled eight saves and six ground balls in goal.

• Hailey Simmons finished with four goals.
• Rachael West and Ella Champigny each scored three times.
• Kendall Hartt had 12 draw controls and scored twice.

• Drew out-shot DeSales, 37-18, and had a slim 20-19 advantage in ground balls.
