Women's Lacrosse Opens Conference Play with Loss at Stevens

Hoboken, NJ (March 30, 2022) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team dropped its MAC Freedom opener, 19-3, at Stevens on Wednesday evening.

  • DSU hung tough early scoring the first goal of the second quarter to trail by just three goals (5-2) early in the second quarter.
  • Stevens finished the half scoring seven straight goals and that streak continued into the third quarter when the Ducks scored 13 straight goals and never looked back from there.

  • Natalie Fitzpatrick, Zoe Cook, and Camryn Rogers each had four goals to lead the Ducks.
  • Morgan Westerby and Maddie Schmidt scored three times each.
  • Westerby added nine draw controls.
