Center Valley, PA (April 13, 2022) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team scored six straight goals to end the second and start the fourth quarter handing Arcadia University its first MAC Freedom loss on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• DSU scored four of the first five goals of the game before AU scored back-to-back to climb within one (4-3) with 5:34 to go in the first-half.
• The Bulldogs scored once more to end the half and dominated the third quarter with four unanswered goals to take a 9-3 lead.
• DeSales' lead was 10-3 after an early fourth quarter goal before Arcadia scored three straight to get within four (10-6) with 4:44 remaining.
• The Bulldogs put a halt to a late comeback scoring two straight before the final tally was posted.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Junior Marina Bradley had two goals and three assists to lead the scoring attack, while also winning three draw controls.
• Sophomore Hayley Petrosini finished with three goals and an assist.
• First-year Meagan Landers had three goals and senior Amanda Schultz scored twice.
• Junior Tess Rodgers also scored twice and added six caused turnovers.
• First-year Michaela Regan had eight saves in goal.

• Morganne Dee led the Knights with four goals.
• Emily Griffith made 10 saves in goal.
