Center Valley, PA (April 20, 2022) - Senior
Liam Kile hit a three-run home run in the second inning leading the DeSales University baseball team past local rival Muhlenberg College, 7-2, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs had just one hit thru the first six innings, the blast by Kile, holding a 3-2 lead entering the bottom of the seventh when DSU exploded for four more hits in the frame, adding four runs to take a 7-2 lead and never looked back.

Robert Lamm had an RBI double, junior
Joe Grigas IV had a two-RBI single, and first-year
Justin DeStaso had an RBI.
A pair of first-year students,
Alex Chase and
Matt Gehris, combined to pitch 6 2/3 strong innings allowing just two runs, striking out three with Gehris earning the win before senior
JJ Paul and first-year
Frank Parrotti closed the game out with quiet innings.
The Bulldogs are back on the diamond on Friday when they travel to King's College for the first of its weekend three-game set beginning at 3:30 pm.
