Maddie Trocki scored 41 seconds into the first overtime leading the DeSales University field hockey team past local rival Moravian University, 2-1, in non-conference action on Thursday evening.

- Moravian struck first scoring 6:18 into the game to take a 1-0 lead that stood into halftime.
- Senior Sarah Peterson got DSU on the board 5:49 into the second half blasting home a shot off a corner insert from Trocki.
- Neither team could find the back of the cage over the final 24 minutes as the game headed into overtime.
- Moravian took possession first in the OT period but were never able to get over midfield as DSU stole the ball.
- Off a steal, senior Tyra Wingle scampered past a defender creating a 2-v-1, slotting a pass to Trocki in the circle where she one timed a shot past the approaching keeper into the cage.

- Trocki's marker is the 13th of her career after scoring 12 last season.
