Wilkes-Barre, PA (September 17, 2022) - The DeSales University women's tennis opened up its Fall season competing at the MAC Individual Championships.
#1 Singles

Morgan Landau fell in the first round, 6-0, 6-3, to Savannah Falk (Arcadia University).
#2 Singles
SophomoreÂ
Nyah Tomlinson was a first round winner over Kate Wyszkowski (Arcadia), 6-0, 6-1 before falling to the top seed, Emily Brecker (Misericordia), 6-2, 6-2.
#3 Singles

Alyssa Vandenberge fell to the #2 seed, Lydia Barbour (Misericordia), 6-3, 6-0 in the opening round.
#4 Singles

Hope Hoppe fell to the #4 seed, Brianna Rohrer (York-PA), 6-4, 7-5 in the first round.
#5 Singles

Lindsay Shoemaker lost in the opening round to Kiersten Strohecker (Messiah), 6-2, 7-6 (7-5).
#6 Singles/#7 Singles had no entry.
#1 Doubles
Landau and Tomlinson earned an 8-2 win over Stevens/Mower (Eastern) in the opening round before falling to top seed, Pizzano/Brecker (Misericordia), 8-1, in the quarterfinals.
#2 Doubles
Vandenberge and Hoppe also earned an 8-2 win over Jeack/Bertrand (Arcadia) before losing to the top seed, Barbour/Loughlin (Misericordia), 8-2 in the quarterfinals.
#3 Doubles#4 Doubles each did not have an entry.
The Bulldogs return to action next Sunday at Moravian University.
