Center Valley, PA (Septembe 27, 2022) - The DeSales University men's tennis team opened up its Fall schedule with a 9-0 win over Cabrini University in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
Doubles
DSU took a 3-0 lead as juniorsÂ
Augie Citrone andÂ
Philip Ritchie teamed to win 8-1 in the No. 1 flight and juniorÂ
Will Pollick paired with seniorÂ
Thomas Blomquist to win 8-0 in the No. 2 position.
Singles
Citrone was a 6-3, 6-1 winner in the No. 1 singles spot, while Ritchie (No. 2), Pollick (No. 3), seniorÂ
Mark Sherrill (No. 4), and seniorÂ
Ethan McCombs (No. 5) all earned 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles.
The Bulldogs won by forfeit in the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles spots.
DSU is back in action on Friday when they resume its match at Moravian from this past Sunday that was suspended due to rain tied 2-2 during singles play.
