Carlisle, PA (September 3, 2022) - The DeSales University women's soccer team fell behind 3-0 and was unable to recover falling at Dickinson College, 3-1, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• Dickinson got on the board and held a 1-0 lead into the halftime break after a tally in the 11th minute.
• The lead grew to two goals in the 63rd minute and became 3-0 at 79:04.
• Senior Sam Monteforte got DSU on the board in the 82nd minute when her shot hit off the cross bar and bounced straight down over the line but that was all DeSales could get the rest of the way.

• The goal was Monteforte's first of the season and the eighth of her career.
• Fellow senior Katie Padgett earned an assist on the play.
• Junior Hannah Pacheco made two saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Katie Vassilakos scored twice for Dickinson and Maddie St. Amand also scored.
• Meg Tate had two assists on the two goals from Vassilakos.
