Center Valley, PA (October 11, 2023) -  The DeSales University men's soccer team fell to Dickinson College, 3-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.


The Basics

• Records: DeSales (5-4-2, 1-0-1 MAC Freedom); Dickinson (7-3-2, 1-2-2 Centennial)
• The loss drops the Bulldogs to 0-3 all-time vs. the Red Devils.

How it Happened

• Dickinson struck first in this one scoring in the 37th minute with a goal from Saul Iwowo on a centering feed by Austin Holloway from inside the box, to give the Red Devils a 1-0 lead heading into the break.
• It took the Bulldogs just seven minutes into the second-half to tie the game, when sophomore Liam MacDonald scored on a header off a free kick entry from sophomore Kevin Krall taken within the midfield circle.
• The Red Devils took back the lead in the 56th minute when Connor Uitterdijk found the back of the net on a pass from Ethan Jarden.
• Dickinson added some insurance with Saul Iwowo scoring his second of the game and posting the final tally in the 68th minute.

• Sophomore Liam MacDonald scored his fourth goal of the season.
• Sophomore Kevin Krall tallied his team-leading sixth assist of the year. 
• Sophomore Conner Zimmerman had three saves in goal for the Bulldogs.
