Center Valley, PA (October 18, 2023) - The DeSales University volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Misericordia University in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs (8-13, 3-2 MAC Freedom) fell behind early dropping the first two sets by tight 25-21 and 25-20 margins. DSU rallied in the third set, recording a match-high 13 kills, to win 25-23, forcing a fourth set. The Cougars (13-11, 3-2 MAC Freedom) recovered with 15 kills in the fourth set, never trailing, en route to a 25-19 win.

Paige Lewis had a terrific match finishing with 12 kills, hitting .346, and adding eight blocks. Fellow graduate studentÂ
Delanie Zohler had eight kills, nine digs, and five blocks in the loss. SeniorÂ
Mykenah Calder had eight kills and 17 digs, while seniorÂ
Grace Grandinetti had a double-double with 15 assists, and 11 digs.

Emma Notarfrancesco totalied 14 digs.
DSU is back in action on Friday and Saturday when they take on Hamilton College and Hartwick College.
