Emma Ribeiro scored twice as the DeSales University women's soccer team gave #24 Misericordia University a scare on Halloween night, falling 4-2 in double overtime, in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament semfinals on Tuesday evening.

- The Cougars entered as the top seed in the MAC Freedom Tournament and two-time defending MAC Freedom Champions.

How it Happened
- MU only needed 1:49 to get on the scoreboard in this one taking an early 1-0 lead.
- Ribeiro had the answer just 14 minutes later as she streaked down the entire length of the field beating a defender and then firing a shot past the keeper around another defender tying the score at one which stood into halftime.
- The game remained tied until the 71st minute when Misericordia scored on a free kick from about 30 yards out.
- Ribeiro wasn't done however breaking free once again around midfield and scoring her second of the game just 3:37 later to tie the game once again at two.
- Neither team scored the rest of the was the game went into overtime.
- Misericordia got the eventual game-winner in the 96th minute of the first OT and added an insurance goal late in the second OT to spoil DSU's upset bid.
