Montclair, NJ (November 4, 2023) - The DeSales University volleyball team finished up its 2023 season splitting a tri-match at Montclair State University against a pair of regionally ranked opponents.

Match #1 (W/3-0 - 25-12, 25-20, 25-16 vs. SUNY-New Paltz)
The Bulldogs took down New Paltz in straight sets, its first win over a regionally ranked opponent this season. DSU dominated hitting .341 for the match and holding New Paltz to just .036 hitting percentage.

Senior Paige Lewis had 12 kills and six blocks, hitting .417, senior Alyson Maddalone added nine kills and 12 digs, hitting .429, and senior Liz Hessberger hit .667 with six kills.

Senior Delanie Zohler finished with 8 kills and seven digs, while senior Grace Grandinetti and sophomore Peyton Porterfield each had 16 assists.  Senior Emma Notarfrancesco had 11 digs.

Match #2 (L/0-3 - 20-25, 24-26, 24-26 vs. Montclair State)
DSU once again played well against the regionally ranked Red Hawks falling just short in sets two and three to fall in three sets.

Zoher had 15 kills and added 10 digs in the loss to lead the attack.  Junior Mykenah Calder had six kills and 20 digs.

Grandinetti finished with 20 assists and 10 digs, while Maddalone (25 digs) and Notarfrancesco (16 digs) played well.
