Center Valley, PA (April 16, 2023) - The DeSales University women's tennis team fell to Wilkes University, 6-3, in MAC Freedom action on Sunday afternoon.

Doubles
DSU trailed 2-1 after the doubles matches. Junior Morgan Landau and sophomore Nyah Tomlinson earned DSU's point winning 8-4 in the No. 1 spot.

Singles
Three of the six singles matches went to a third set tiebreak but the Colonels won four of the six matches to take home the win.  DSU got wins from junior Hope Hoppe in the No. 4 spot, 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-7) and junior Lindsay Shoemaker in the fifth position, 0-6, 6-4, 1-0 (11-9).

The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Stevens for another MAC Freedom match beginning at 4:00 pm.
