Dallas, PA (April 23, 2023) - The DeSales University golf team took home fifth place out of nine teams shooting a two-day score of 687 at the MAC Freedom Championships held at Huntsville Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.
The first round was started on Saturday but halted due to lightning with the Bulldogs still having 5-7 holes yet to play which they completed on Sunday morning before Sunday afternoon's final round.

Andrew Saglimbeni was DSU's top individual taking home 12th place with rounds of 83 and 81. In his first round he had two birdies and five pars and carded one birdie and eight pars in round two.
First-yearÂ
Jimmy Kelly was 15th overall with two 83's. In round one he shook off a 10-over front nine to shoot 1-over on the back with eight pars and a bogey. In round two he made eight pars and nine bogies.

Christian Guldin rounded out DSU's top four taking 27th and 28th place two-day totals of 178 and 179. Hallman had a 95 in round one and bounced back with an 85 in round two with eight pars and Guldin posted rounds of 91 and 88.
