Madison, NJ (April 25, 2023) - The DeSales University men's tennis team battled for just under five hours falling to FDU-Florham, 5-3, in the semifinals of the MAC Freedom postseason tournament on Tuesday afternoon.

Doubles
DSU fell behind 2-1 after doubles play as junior Aiden Kiernan and senior Will Pollick earned an 8-5 win in the second flight.

Singles
The Bulldogs tied the match at three after the first three singles were completed as junior Philip Ritchie won a hard-fought three-set match, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 and Kiernan turned in a 6-1, 6-1 win in the #3 position.

The Devils took the singles matches in the #4 and 5 spots to close out the match with both going three sets and down to the wire.

The Bulldogs move to 9-5 overall on the season and have a chance to earn their 10th win as they travel to Ursinus College for the final match of the year on Thursday.
