Center Valley, PA (April 5, 2023) - The DeSales University women's tennis team earned a 9-0 win over FDU-Florham in the MAC Freedom opener for both teams on Wednesday afternoon.
DSU won two points by forfeit including the #3 doubles position and #6 singles spot.
Doubles

Morgan Landau and sophomoreÂ
Nyah Tomlinson earned an 8-3 win in the No. 1 flight and juniorsÂ
Hope Hoppe andÂ
Lindsay Shoemaker won 8-4 in the No. 2 position.
Singles
Landau won 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 1 position, Tomlinson won 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-3) in the No. 2 flight, and Hoppe was a 6-2, 7-6 (7-1) winner in the No. 3 spot. SophomoreÂ
Alyssa Vandenberge was a 6-2, 6-1 winner in the No. 4 spot and Shoemaker rounded out the singles winners with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 5 spot.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, April 12th hosting Arcadia University beginning at 3:30 pm.
