Men's Soccer Rolls Past Keystone College, 4-0

Center Valley, PA (September 20, 2023) - Senior Larry Agyei scored two goals leading the DeSales University men's soccer team to a 4-0 win over Keystone College in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

The Basics

  • The win moves the Bulldogs to 6-0 all-time vs. the Giants. 
How it Happened
  • Agyei gave DSU a 1-0 halftime lead in the 20th minute scoring on a pass inside the box from first-year student Steve Berrodin.
  • The Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead just 18 seconds into the second half when Agyei scored his second of the game with a left-footed blast from just outside the 18.
  • Sophomore Liam MacDonald gave the Bulldogs another insurance goal in the 67th minute on a header off a corner kick entry from sophomore Owen Maher to make it 3-0. 
  • Senior Ryan Freda added the exclamation point on a rebound off a saved shot from first-year student Jake Moyer in the 75th minute.
Top Bulldog Performers
  • Agyei now has three goals on the season.
  • Berrodin and Moyer each tallied their first assists of the season. 
  • MacDonald scored his second goal of the year. 
  • Freda scored his first of the season. 
  • Senior Tyler Horton made two saves in goal and recorded the win for the Bulldogs.
  • Junior Elias Marshall made two saves.

  • Dominic Weber made seven saves in goal for the Giants.
