Center Valley, PA (September 30, 2023) - The DeSales University women's tennis team continued its unbeaten Fall season with a 6-3 win over Alvernia University in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
The win is DSU's third straight over the Golden Wolves and moves the all-time record to 7-2.
Doubles
The Bulldogs dominated doubles play winning all three matches to take a 3-0 lead. SeniorÂ
Morgan Landau teamed with juniorÂ
Alyssa Vandenberge to win 8-3 in the No. 1 spot, juniorÂ
Nyah Tomlinson and seniorÂ
Hope Hoppe won 8-7 (7-5) in the No. 2 position, and sophomoreÂ
Lilah Maus and first-yearÂ
Sydney Aiello won 8-0 in the No. 3 flight.
Singles
Vandenberg (6-2, 6-1) in the No. 4 spot, Maus (6-0, 6-2) in the No. 5 position, and sophomoreÂ
Emily Prokopovich (6-0, 6-2) won in the sixth flight to post the final score.
DSU is back in action tomorrow when they host Moravian University in another non-conference match beginning at Noon.
