Doylestown, PA (January 20, 2024) - Four players scored in double digits leading the DeSales University men's basketball team to its 12th straight win, 83-69, at Delaware Valley University in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

- This was DSU's 12th straight win on the season as they remain the only unbeaten team in the MAC Freedom after six games.
- DeSales is now 52-23 all-time vs. the Aggies winning its third straight in the series.
How it Happened
- Delaware Valley took a 5-0 lead before a 15-5 run gave DSU a 15-10 lead after a three-pointer from senior Jordan Holmqvist.
- The two teams went back-and-forth the rest of the half with neither team leading by more than four points as the Aggies took a slim one point lead (36-35) into the halftime locker room.
- It remained a close game with DeSales leading by two points (51-49) six minutes into the second-half when the Bulldogs took control.
- DSU used a 16-5 run over the span of five minutes to claim a 67-54 advantage highlighted by two three-pointers from junior Devin Atkinson and never looked back from there.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Senior Jordan Holmqvist led DSU with 15 points off the bench, hitting three 3's.
- Senior Mason Barnes had 14 points, also hitting three 3's.
- Senior Elijah Eberly had a double-double off the bench with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
- Junior Caleb Gibbs also recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards in the win.
For the Foes
- Antonio Redding led all scorers with 20 points, hitting six 3's.
- Godly Marc had 14 points and Rasheem Dearry was also in double digits with 13 points.
Inside the Box Score
- DeSales shot 56.7 percent from the field and 55.0 percent (11-for-20) from outside the arc.
- DSU dominated the paint out-rebounding the Aggies, 40-26, and out-scoring DVU, 42-24, in the paint.
- Both teams got good contributiions from the bench withe DSU out-scoring the Aggie bench, 40-31.
