Lindsey Welsh scored a season-high 20 points and the #17 DeSales University women's basketball team blanked King's College in the third quarter leading to a 61-37 win in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

- King's had the upper hand in the first quarter opening up a 9-6 lead early and held the Bulldogs scoreless over the final 5:15 to take a 17-8 lead after the first 10 minutes of play.
- A three-point play and three-pointer from senior Megan Bealer opened the second quarter with DSU trailing by five.
- Bealer's three-pointer started a 15-0 run that pushed DSU up seven (26-19) before King's pulled to within five at the halftime break.
- The third quarter was all Bulldogs, holding King's scoreless (0-for-7) and out-scoring the Monarchs 16-0 in the quarter to open up a 46-25 lead, as DSU cruised in the fourth quarter.
