Center Valley, PA (October 30, 2024) - Senior Delani Remp tipped home the game-winning goal 2:37 into the first overtime giving the DeSales University field hockey team a 1-0 win over FDU-Florham clinching a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament next week.

How it Happened

• Neither team was able to find a goal thru the entirety of regulation.
• FDU-Florham saves a penalty stroke in the first quarter and had a defensive save to preserve the shutout.
• Sophomore Alyssa Schlossman made back-to-back saves during an onslaught in the first-half where the second of those saves clanked off the crossbar after Schlossman tipped it.
• Early in the OT period senior Maddie Trocki took the ball into the circle and fired a shot towards the goal where Remp re-directed the shot past the Devil keeper for the game-winner.

• It was Remp's sixth goal of the season.
• Trocki handed out her seventh assist of the season.
• Sophomore Alyssa Schlossman recorded her second shutout of the season, making seven saves.

• Emily Schlessinger had nine saves in goal.
