Glassboro, NJ (October 5, 2024) - The DeSales University University volleyball team split its two matches on Saturday at Rowan University with a 3-0 win over SUNY Maritime in the second match of the day after falling to host Rowan in the first match.
Match #1 (L/1-3 vs. Rowan)
DeSales dropped the first set, 25-9, won the second second set, 25-20, narrowly dropped the third set, 25-23, and fell in the fourth set 25-7.

Allison Reimer led the team with 11 kills, hit .290, and added three blocks. Senior
Samantha Worontzoff also tallied three blocks.

Bryanna Purisima led the Bulldogs with 13 assists and 11 digs. First-year
Veda Doxzen had 10 assists and added eight digs.Â
Match #2 (W/3-0 vs. SUNY Maritime)
The Bulldogs bounced back in the second match of the day taking down SUNY Maritime in straight sets, 25-17, 25-11, and 25-12.
First-year
Allison Reimer led the way with nine kills, hit .300, and eight digs. Senior
Paige Lewis had four kills and added two blocks.Â

McKenzie Badham had a team-leading seven assists and added six digs. First-year
Kylie Campbell finished with six serve aces and 12 digs in the win for the Bulldogs.Â
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to King's College for a MAC Freedom match beginning at 7:00 pm.
