Mikaela Reese and
Megan Bealer each recorded double-doubles leading the #18 DeSales University women's basketball team past Lebanon Valley College, 63-47, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

- DeSales stays unbeaten in the MAC Freedom and records its 14th straight win on the season.
- DSU sweeps the season series with LVC, extending its win streak to eight straight over the Flying Dutchmen and moving to 9-1 all-time in the series.
How it Happened
- The first quarter was back-and-forth that saw LVC holding a 15-14 lead late before the Bulldogs finished the quarter with two 3's from first-year Lillirose Lang and senior Amelia Saunders to take a 20-15 first quarter lead.
- DSU scored the first seven points of the second quarter to build a 12-point lead (27-15) after a three from Bealer at the 8:23 mark.
- The lead was still double digits (33-23) with 1:08 to go in the half before LVC scored the final five points to trail by just five entering the halftime locker room.
- DSU started strong yet again in the third quarter scoring the first six points to claim an 11-point advantage (39-28).
- The Bulldogs extended that run to 12-2 taking a 45-30 lead at the 3:29 mark before settling on a 50-37 advantage after three quarters, holding LVC to just nine third quarter points.
- The lead grew to as many as 18 points three times in the fourth quarter as the Bulldogs cruised home with the win.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Reese led the way with 21 points, 12 boards, five assists, and four blocks, recording her eighth double-double of the year.
- Bealer notched her fourth double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
- Senior Lindsey Welsh was also in double digits with 11 points and added five boards and five helpers.
For the Foes
- Kate Fitzpatrick finished with 18 points to lead LVC.
- Riley Hevelow added 14 points as the only other double digit scorer.
Inside the Box Score
- DeSales shot 44.8 percent from the field and held LVC to just 32.8 percent shooting.
- The Bulldogs dominated the paint out-rebounding LVC, 45-31, and scoring 36 of its 63 points in the paint.
- The Flying Dutchmen took excellent care of the ball, committing just eight turnovers.
