Center Valley, PA (February 17, 2024) - The #15 DeSales University men's basketball team wrapped up the regular season winning its school-record 20th straight game, 76-55 over Delaware Valley University in MAC Freedom action on senior day in Billera Hall on Saturday afternoon

• This is the first time in team history the Bulldogs have finished a season undefeated in conference play.

• The Bulldogs sweep the season series with the Aggies and improve to 53-23 in the all-time series.

How it Happened

• Delaware Valley led by four early and held a 14-11 lead when the Bulldogs went on a 17-0 run over the span of 5:11 to take a 28-14 lead.
• Senior Elijah Eberly finished the run with five straight points, while senior Will Bowen, senior Jordan Holmqvist, and junior Devin Atkinson each hit three-pointers.
• The lead was 13 points at the half and was 14 five minutes in the second-half when DSU used a 23-5 run to put the game away taking a 32-point lead with 7:46 remaining.
• Holmqvist led the spurt hitting 3 3's during the run as the Bulldogs cruised the rest of the way.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Senior Elijah Eberly finished with a game-high 20 points adding seven rebounds and shooting 9-for-11 from the field.
• Holmqvist finished with 14 points and added five assists.
• Senior Ryan Boylan was also in double digits with 13 points.

For the Foes

• Tyriq Toney-Bailey was the only player in double digits for the Aggies with 11 points.

Inside the Box Score

• DeSales shot 51.6 percent from the field and held Del. Val. to just 32.8 percent from the floor.
• The Bulldogs scored 44 of its 76 points in the paint.
