Bethlehem, PA (September 11, 2024) - The DeSales University volleyball team fell to local rival Moravian University, 3-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.
The Bulldogs fell behind early as Moravian scored the first four points of the opening set and led throughout. Trailing 21-17, DSU made a late run scoring six of the next eight points to tie the score at 23 forcing a Greyhound timeout. Moravian responded with two straight points out of the timeout to close out the first set win.
The second set was tight tied at 12 before Moravian dominated scoring 13 of the next 14 points to win 25-13. The Greyhounds were out early again in the third set leading 19-11 before DeSales rallied getting within two points (24-22) before a service error closed out the match for the Greyhounds.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday when they take on Neumann University in day one of the Knight's Classic on Friday and Saturday.
