Center Valley, PA (October 2, 2025) - The DeSales University volleyball team saw a fourth set rally fall just short in a 3-1 loss to Dickinson College in non-conference action on Thursday evening in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in this one winning the first set 25-21, winning six of the final nine points and totaling 13 kills in the opening set. The Red Devils rebounded committing just three hitting errors and hitting .345 and .400 in sets two and three to claim a 2-1 lead after 25-14 and 25-11 wins.
Dickinson started quickly in the fourth set, taking an 11-3 lead before DeSales rallied. DSU scored six straight points down 15-9 to tie the score at 15 and led 19-17 after a Red Devil attack error. The Bulldogs clung to a 20-19 lead when the Red Devils scored five of the next six points to take a 24-21 lead and closed out the match two points later.

Maddie Sandt had nine kills and added nine digs. SophomoreÂ
Allison Reimer finished with seven kills and 13 digs, while first-yearÂ
Haylee Arnold totaled six kills and three blocks.

Jocelyn Castro finished with five blocks and sophomoreÂ
Kylie Campbell totaled 20 digs. SophomoresÂ

Veda Doxzen combined for 30 assists and 11 digs.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday travling to Rowan University for a tri-match with Brooklyn College.
