Men's Soccer Battles Delaware Valley to a 1-1 Draw

Center Valley, PA (October 4, 2025) - The DeSales University men's soccer team shook off a 1-0 halftime deficit to earn a 1-1 draw with Delaware Valley University in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

  • The tie snaps a 22-game win streak over the Aggies as DSU moves to 29-6-3 all-time vs. Delware Valley. 
How it Happened
  • The Aggies got its goal with just two seconds left in the first-half on a ball knocked in off a corner kick feed.
  • The Bulldogs got the tying marker at 78:26 when senior Liam MacDonald scored on a header in the box off a free kick.

  • MacDonald's goal was the seventh of the season.
  • Senior Joseph Reteneller earned an assist on the play sending the free kick into the box.
  • Sophomore Jimmy Shensky had three saves in goal.

  • Constantin Mahner scored the Aggies lone goal.
