Women's Soccer Ties FDU-Florham 1-1 in Season Finale

Center Valley, PA (November 1, 2025) - The DeSales University women's soccer team settled for a 1-1 draw with FDU-Florham in the season finale in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

The Basics
  • Final Score: DeSales - 1, FDU-Florham - 1
  • Records: DeSales (4-9-3, 2-4-1 MAC Freedom); FDU-Florham (6-8-4, 1-4-2 MAC Freedom)
  • The Bulldogs move to 13-14-4 all-time vs. the Devils with the draw. 
How it Happened
  • DSU got on the board first with just under three minutes left in the opening half when junior Catherine Crampton scored off a free kick just outside the box.
  • The Devils got the equalizer in the 70th minute when a ball over the top wasn't cleared and Selena Rivera deaked the GK and scored into an open net.
  • Neither team was able to find the game-winner over the final 20 minutes.
Top Bulldog Performers
  • The goal was Crampton's third of the season.
  • Sophomore Campbell Pacheco made seven saves in goal. 
For the Foes
  • Rivera tallied her fourth goal of the year.
  • Ava Gianni had seven saves for the Devils.
