Center Valley, PA (February 15, 2025) - The DeSales University men's basketball team got 31 points from its bench in a 69-57 win over Lebanon Valley College in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon in Billera Hall.

How it Happened
  • DeSales dominated the first-half of this one using a 15-4 run early in the first-half to take a 25-10 lead at the 8:20 mark.
  • The lead swelled to as many 25 points on a late three from first-year Luke Keppel before taking a 40-17 lead into the halftime locker room.
  • The Flying Dutchmen cut into the lead over the first five minutes of the second-half, out-scoring the Bulldogs 12-2 to start the half to get within 13 (42-29) at the 14:37 mark.
  • Senior Devin Atkinson put a stop to that run with a lay-up on the other end and the two teams went back-and-forth over the next several minutes.
  • LVC got within 11 points (52-41) at the 6:32 mark before a three-point play from junior Chris Edwards quited the Flying Dutchmen pushing the lead back to 14 points.
  • LVC chipped away, getting within single digits at the 2:21 mark but DeSales hit 6-for-8 from the charity stripe down the stretch to ice the win.
Top Bulldog Performers
  • Senior Devin Atkinson recorded his third double-double of the year with 16 points and 10 rebounds, adding four assists.
  • Senior Matt Ciszkowski had 10 points and first-year Jayden Thomas added 14 points off the bench, pulling down seven boards.
  • Keppel finished with nine points and Edwards had a career-high eight points, each off the bench.
  • First-year Ty Mishock also played well, handing out a game-high five assists.

  • Evin Timochencko led LVC with 22 points and nine rebounds.
  • Ryan Harder added 14 points and eight boards.
