Allentown, PA (April 21, 2025) - Senior Andrew Saglimbeni fired a 3-over 71 to take low medalist leading the DeSales University golf team to a second place finish at the Muhlenberg College Spring Invitational on Monday afternoon at Lehigh Country Club.

The Bulldogs posted a team score of 305, just two shots behind Kean University, who took the team title.

Saglimbeni was two shots better than everyone else in the field, carding birdies on the sixth, eighth, and 14th holes to finished with a 3-over 71 with a 36 on the front and a 35 on the back.

Junior Jimmy Kelly tied for fifth individually with his second straight round of 75.

Rounding out the Bulldogs top four were first-year Peter McGinley firing a 77 to take 11th place and senior Patrick Kusters who finished with an 80.

DeSales is off the rest of the week and will return to action on May 3rd and 4th competing at the MAC Freedom Championships at Shawnee.
