Annville, PA (April 30, 2025) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team came up short falling to Lebanon Valley College, 21-12, in the MAC Freedom Semifinals on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
- The two teams traded goals to start the game before Lebanon Valley scored four straight to take a 5-1 lead.
- DeSales ended the run on a goal from junior Sara Forchelli but LVC scored two more in the span of 30 seconds to finish the first quarter leading 7-2.
- The Flying Dutchmen scored three to start the second quarter taking a 10-2 lead and led 14-4 before the Bulldogs scored with one second left in the half to make it a 14-5 game at the half.
- The Bulldogs showed some fight to start the second-half scoring the first three goals of the half to cut the margin down to 14-8.
- The lead remained six after each team scored twice (16-10) with 4:37 left in the third quarter.
- Lebanon Valley pulled away from there scoring five straight goals to claim a 21-10 lead before DSU scored twice to post the final tally.
