Williamson Scores Seven Goals Leading Women's Lacrosse Past FDU-Florham, 19-9

Madison, NJ (April 9, 2025) - Junior Emma Williamson scored a career-high seven goals leading the DeSales University women's lacrosse team past FDU-Florham, 19-9, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

  • It is DeSales' second straight win in the series as the Bulldogs move to 2-7 all-time vs. the Devils.

How it Happened
  • FDU led early taking a 3-2 lead before the Bulldogs scored two straight to end the first quarter to claim a 4-3 advantage.
  • The Bulldogs kept the pressure on scoring three more goals to start the second quarter opening up a 7-3 lead and led 10-5 entering the halftime locker room.
  • The Devils got the first two goals of the third quarter to get within three goals, but DeSales tallied four straight to take a 14-7 lead and never looked back in the fourth quarter.

  • Williamson was outstanding scoring a career-high seven goals and added two draw controls and four ground balls.
  • Junior Hailey Linebaugh added three goals and four assists.
  • Junior Christina DiGuglielmo handed out five assists and won five draw controls.
  • Junior Danielle Sieja and junior Bridey Lawler each had three goals.
  • Senior Michaela Regan was solid in goal making 10 saves.
