DiGuglielmo, Williamson, and Broxterman Honored on All-ECAC Team

Danbury, CT (May 21, 2025) - Juniors Christina DiGuglielmo and Emma Williamson along with head coach Samantha Broxterman were each honored on the 2025 Division III Women's Lacrosse All-ECAC Team as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

Broxterman is named the ECAC Coach of the Year for the second time this season after also earning MAC Freedom Coach of the Year honors. She guided the Bulldogs to the most wins in a single-season in team history (15) and is now the all-time winningest coach in program history with 25 wins. Under her tutelage this season, the Bulldogs saw seven players make the All-Conference team while breaking multiple team records. DeSales recorded their first-ever shutout win, tied the single-game goals record (24), tied the single-game assists record (17), broke the single-game points record (41) and set a new one in another game (42), broke the single-season assists record (197), and won a team-record 10 straight games to open the season which was also the longest winning streak in program history.

DiGuglielmo and Williamson both earn All-ECAC honors for the first time and become the first two players to earn All-ECAC honors since Katie Stordy in the 2019 season.

DiGuglielmo adds this honor to also being named All-MAC Freedom Second-Team and a USA Lacrosse Honorable-Mention All-American this season. She broke the single-season scoring record with 104 points and shattered the single-season assists record with 66. Her total points and assists also ranked first in the conference. DiGuglielmo was tied for third on the team with 38 goals scored and fourth in draw controls with 33. She currently ranks first all-time in career points, first in assists, and ranks fifth in goals heading into her senior year.

Williamson adds this honor to also being named All-MAC Freedom First-Team. She finished sixth on the team in goals (32) and points (41). Williamson led the Bulldogs picking up 70 ground balls (second most in a season in team history) which broke the all-time career program record as she sits at 154 ground balls heading into her senior year. On the defensive side of the ball, Williamson finished second in caused turnovers with 13.
