Andrew Saglimbeni and junior
Jimmy Kelly each placed among the T-10 individually leading the DeSales University golf team to a fourth place finish with a two-day total of 637 on Saturday and Sunday at Shawnee Golf Resort.
The Bulldogs had a tremendous second day moving up three spots and into fourth place after sitting in seventh place after day one. DSU shot a team score of 312 on day two, the third best team score of the day to move up three spots.
Saglimbeni earned All-MAC Freedom Second-Team honors finishing tied for sixth with a two-day total of 151. He shot 77 on day two carding three birdies on holes, 4, 6, and 17 along with nine pars.
Kelly also earned All-MAC Freedom Second-Team honors tying for ninth place with a two-day total of 152, firing a 78 on Sunday with three birdies on holes 11, 13, and 16 as well as eight pars.
Junior
Brandon Fox was 13 shots better on Sunday firing a 75 with five birdies. He made birdie on holes 1, 2, and 3 to start his round and added birdies on holes 15 and 16 to move up to a tie for 24th place.
Rounding out DSU's top four was first-year
Peter McGinley placing 36th with a two-day score of 177, including a a bounce back 82 on Sunday after shooting 95 on Saturday.
