Matthew Smith took home low medalist with an even par 72 leading the DeSales University golf team at the Makuvek Cup.
The Bulldogs finished third as a team shooting a team score of 315, lowest total of the fall season.
Smith won low medalist on the sixth playoff hole, making birdie on #10 to break the tie. He fired a 1-over 37 on the front side and a 1-under 35 on the back side making birdie on #'s 13 and 15.
Sophomore
Peter McGinley was second for the Bulldogs with a 7-over 79, including birdie on #5.
Rounding out DSU's top four was senior
Jimmy Kelly (80) and senior
Brandon Fox (84).
The Bulldogs are back on the links on October 3rd and 4th hosting the DeSales University Fall Classic at Olde Homestead GC.
