Center Valley, PA (September 24, 2025) - The DeSales University volleyball team opened up MAC Freedom play with a 3-0 sweep of Arcadia University in Billera Hall on Wednesday evening.
DSU got off to a hot start hitting .458 in the opening set with 13 kills and just two errors to run away with a 25-13 win in the first set. DeSales led 8-4 early in the second set before the Knights climbed back within one (15-14). The Bulldogs scored four straight points from that point and never looked back for a 25-21 win. The third set was back-and-forth featuring 12 ties and 10 lead changes. DSU trailed 22-21 before scoring the final four points of the set to close out the match on a service ace from sophomoreÂ

Allison Reimer led the Bulldogs with nine kills, hitting .381, adding six aces, and 11 digs. First-yearÂ
Haylee Arnold had seven kills, hitting .455.

Veda Doxzen combined for 26 assists, 16 from Doxzen and 12 from Dinan.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday taking on Drew University and Montclair State University in a tri-match at Drew.
