CENTER VALLEY, PA (Sept. 6, 2025) -- The DeSales University men's soccer team fell to The Catholic University this afternoon after a 4-0 loss in non-conference play.  

The Basics   

• Final Score: Catholic University 4, DeSales University 0   

• Records: DeSales 1-2-0, Catholic University (2-1-0) 

How it happened  

• Catholic struck early in the first half, but the Bulldogs defense held them off until late in the first half when they struck again in the 34th minute.  

• The Bulldogs held Catholic to only one goal in the second half of play.  

Top Bulldog Performers  

• Sophomore goalkeeper, Ryan Foley came in for the Bulldogs with 55 minutes of action and five saves.  

• Senior, Jimmy Shensky was in action for 34 minutes but tallied seven saves for the Bulldogs.  

• Defenders, Joseph Reteneller and Nik Rohm tallied 80 plus minutes of playing time.  

For the Foes 

• Azaria Tewodros tallied two of the four goals for the Cardinals.
