Field Hockey Hosted Dedication Game on Saturday

| By:

CENTER VALLEY, PA (Oct. 19, 2026) -- The DeSales University field hockey team hosted a dedication game on Saturday October 10th when they took on Arcadia University. This game was a special opportunity for each student-athlete to honor an individual or a group of people who have made a meaningful and lasting impact on their lives. Whether family, friends, mentors or other important figures, these individuals have provided support, encouragement, and inspiration, both on and off the field.

First-year forward, Shelby Haldeman, dedicated her game to her family, "because they have always been there for me, no matter what. They provide me with love, support, and guidance, and have helped shape me into the person I am today. I am so grateful to have them by my side through all of life's challenges and successes."

Forward, first-year Lauren Reznick, chose to dedicate her game to her aunt, "she is extremely important to me. She was there for me when my grandma wasn't capable, was filled with so much joy, and always supported me. She passed away around this time last year, which is why I chose to dedicate the game to her."

Junior, midfielder, Stephanie Pallante dedicated her game to her parents, "They are the reason I decided to play at the collegiate level. They are my biggest supporters and encourage me no matter how much I play."

First-year, Sabrina Conklin donated her game to her grandmother, "she was my best friend and supported me in everything that I did."

Defender Hailey Wert, dedicated her game to her parents, "they have both set the foundation for my life. They put themself last to ensure that I have everything I could possibly need to succeed. They support me in so many ways."

Finally, defender Gianna Franceschino also donated her game to her parents, "they always show up for me in so many ways. I am so grateful for their support and every single day want them to know how much I truly appreciate them."

All of the Bulldogs took today to recognize all of the important people in their lives. We thank all those who were recognized today for the important role they played in our student athletes lives.
