MADISON, NJ (Oct. 3, 2026) -- The DeSales University men's soccer team fell 4-3 to the FDU-Florham Red Devils in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs were the first on the board this afternoon, 12 minutes into the competition. Sophomore midfielder, Osmar Ferre, gained control of the ball on the left side of the field, and found the back right corner of the net.

Four minutes later, the Red Devils scored, bringing the score to 1-1 early in the first half. Both teams continued to have a strong offensive and defensive presence, but neither team was able to capitalize on any scoring opportunities, ending the first half 1-1.

DeSales came out of the half strong, scoring their second goal of the game seven minutes into the half, off of a free kick. Nik Rohm got a head on the ball, to control it, and Mike McCurry, used the action in front of the net to his advantage, to tally the second of the afternoon for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs third goal of the game came 12 minutes after their second, first-year Abu Barrie, took the ball past two Red Devils defenders, brought it to the center of the field and found the lower left corner of the net, to bring the game 3-1.
